Friday with a Fitbit and a Blog Hop!

Mornin' Friday!  I haven't blogging all that much lately, and now I'm finally getting back into it (darn all those people who want to learn to ballroom dance! :D ).  I also decided I need a little gadget to tell me whether I'm being active enough or not, so yesterday I bought a Fitbit Flex!  If anyone shouts at me saying it was expensive, pointless thing to buy, I will respond by saying I've tried to motivate myself by getting a gym membership, I've tried to keep food and exercise calendars and diaries, and I've tried having my husband (a health freak) bully me into exercising.  None of it worked, so I tried the Fitbit app for a few weeks, liked it and was able to keep up with it, and decided to get the little Flex-thing.  Aaannd I like it!

....But I digress.  It's Friday and it's time for a blog hop!

Here are the rules:
1. Go to the host page (Parajunkee or Alison Can Read) and sign up on the Linky thing and check out this week's question.
2.  Write up a post answering the weekly question
3.  Follow the hosts and the featured blogs
4.  Follow, follow, follow as many blogs as you want!  And if someone follows you, follow them back!  It's also nice if you put up a comment on their post, just to let them know you're following them!

This weeks Question:
Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books?
Crap, only 3 books?!  Maybe I should have a suitcase on standby just in case....
I think would just grab my stack of Harry Potter books and stagger out the door with them.  All of my books are replaceable, but my Harry Potter books have the most sentimental value to them.  Then I might run back in and grab my Adventures of Tintin comic books, because I borrowed those from my French Canadian mother, and she'd be totally heartbroken if they got burned to a crisp.
And then there are my book journals!!!!  Man, I should just get a fireproof safe or something.
How about you guys?  Happy following!

  5. Oh goodness, I'd need a fireproof vault with all the books I have! And quite a few aren't even in my room! My HP collection was moved to the downstairs bookcase because my mom allowed me to have 4 out of the 8 shelves!
