Well, it's time for me to get cracking here! It's time for a blog hop!
This is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The rules are pretty simple:
1. Create a Feature&Follow Friday post answering the weekly question
2. Enter your web link into the Linky thing on either of the host's F&F post.
3. Make sure you follow the two hosts and the featured bloggers
4. Follow, follow, follow as many other participating bloggers as you want! Leave comments to let them you're following them, and if they follow you, follow them back!
This week's question:
Have you ever been inspired by a book character to do something? Who was the character and what was it? Suggested by Eternity Through Pages
Of course! There are many books that I've read in my lifetime that affected the way I view the world. Siddhartha, Wonder, Life of Pi, Harry Potter.....all of these books have affected the way I look at things. But there's one book in particular that I rely on heavily to think in a more positive way, and that's Can't Wait To Get To Heaven, by Fannie Flagg. There's a elderly character in this book called Elner Shimfissle, and this story revolves around her always-positive attitude and how that attitude affects the people around her. It even affects the readers of this book: every time I read about Elner, I feel much happier, and I end up looking at the world a little differently. I try to mimic her and remain as positive as possible about every situation. It's hard sometimes, but the good attitude has definitely helped me in my business. I love my job more, and my students are really enjoying themselves!
How about you guys? Which character in which book inspires you?

Wow! That's great!! I wish I had a book that inspired me in such ways. Though I do love reading. Even if I can't necessarily be the heroine, with that hunky hero too! LOL! I did have a book inspire me in some way when I was 13. But it was probably more so the author than the book, but the book still played a huge role in my life!
